Robert Miller (President & Chief Governance Officer)
With more than 30 years of experience in the life and health insurance industry, Robert’s career has encompassed marketing and management for several large insurance and reinsurance companies in Canada, the US and Europe. Since 1995 he has operated his own business as a consultant to the insurance industry authoring underwriting manuals, developing products, managing process change and developing web sites.
Robert has been a volunteer with the Halton and Brant Children’s Aid Societies as both a Foster and Adoptive parent. He has worked with Habitat for Humanity Brant as a volunteer and served on the Board as a member and two terms as President.

Pat Davies (Director)
Pat was raised in Hamilton, where she graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked in several different areas, including VON, Public Health, Developmental Services and Home Care. Her last position was Executive Director of the Brant Community Care Access Centre, providing Home Care services to the residents of Brant County.
Pat is actively involved as a volunteer with many other community agencies in Brant County, in addition to Aberdeen Health and Community Services.

Laurie Paciocco (Director)
As a Clinical Project Manager for the Integrated Healthcare Solutions division, Laurie facilitates and supports the client’s clinical transition and operational readiness planning. With over 30 years of clinical healthcare experience, Laurie is an accomplished project manager with 15 years of project management experience in hospitals and as an independent healthcare consultant. Her project and consulting work has included many hospital-wide strategic initiatives such as the implementation of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), pharmacy automation systems, lean processing to improve patient safety, operational reviews and transition/occupancy planning.
Laurie attended the University of Western Ontario and the Toronto Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology before beginning her career as a medical laboratory technologist. Laurie began her career as an MLT and is a member of the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario. Laurie is certified in Lean Healthcare and Project Management.

Dodie Trimble (Director)
Dodie Trimble, RN BScN, MHST, has filled in various healthcare positions over her career which include front line critical care nursing, manager of multiple hospital in-patient programs, LHIN Project Coordinator for Ministry of Health and Long Term Care program and currently the Director of Quality and Profession Practice in a Full Service Community Hospital.
Dodie entered the healthcare profession as a Diploma prepared Registered Nurse and went on to received her baccalaureate degree in nursing through Ryerson University and is presently enrolled in a Masters of Health Studies program at Athabasca University.
Dodie's commitment to high quality patient care and patient safety has brought her opportunities to be a best practice champion with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, Patient Safety advocate through the Ontario Hospital Association and Accreditation Canada, member of the Nursing Leadership Advisory Group for the College of Nurses of Ontario, member of the Joint Operating Committees for Patient Safety and Best Practice Spotlight Organization in LHIN 4 and member of the Professional Practice Network of Ontario. Dodie’s background in healthcare has prepared her to contribute to healthcare practices that are focused on ensuring the best possible outcomes to those we serve.

Laura Thomson (Director)
Laura Thomson brings to the Board of Directors an expertise in Communications and Community Partnership.
Early on in her career, Laura was the national Director of Communications for the Canadian Mental Health Association. She moved on to other communication roles, working with organizations like the World Wildlife Fund, Canada Life, Ontario Red Cross, Bird Studies Canada. Locally Laura has worked as a Manager for the Brantford Bookworm.
Also a big supporter of volunteerism, Laura has offered her time as a volunteer at the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre, Literacy North York, Toronto City Hall Daycare, Heritage United Church, Erie Presbytery and now Aberdeen Health and Community Services.
